Hier apres-midi, NathaN est alle regarde son premier match de cricket a l'ecole de Papa! Bon, il n'est pas reste a regarder tout le match (ca m'arrangeait bien!), mais tout de meme... Notre petit franco-anglais decouvre les traditions de son pere. Et puis aujourd'hui, c'est le grand jour pour l'Angleterre! Ils jouent contre l'Allemagne dans la Coupe du Monde de foot. Alors ca veut dire: pique-nique au parc avec TataVic  pendant que Papa est au pub pour regarder le match!

Yesterday afternoon, NathaN went to watch his first cricket match at Papa's school! Well, he didn't stay for the whole game (that suited me just fine!), but still... Our little Anglo-French is discovering his Dad's traditions. And today, it's the big day for England! They're playing against Germany in the World Cup. So this means: picnic in the park with Auntie Vic whilst Papa is in the pub watching the game!

Regardez! Admirez! Je viens enfin d'ajouter un album photo avec mes petites creations, faites avec mes petites mains a moi! Vous aimez?

Mon petit deviendra grand...

A 7 mois,

• il fait du 4 pattes (il avait 6 mois et une semaine)
• il se met debout
• il mange comme un grand: bananes, rice cakes...etc
• il adore aller au parc: balancoire, tobogan et tourniquet!

A 8 mois

• il monte les escaliers (les 15 marches une a une, avec maman derriere!)
• il marche le long des meubles
• il s'est nourri a la cuillere (un petit repas - c'est deja bien!)
• il fait au-revoir de la main (du bras plutot)
• il a fait sa premiere visite a Londres
• il se promene en metro londonnien
• il joue avec un ballon de rugby (un vrai!) - merci Illtud!
• il boit au verre - comme les grands
• il adore danser quand papa met MTV
• il a les cheveux qui poussent! (plus de petite partie chauve...)
• il prend son bain dans la grande baignoire (il y fait du 4 pattes et n'arrete pas d'essayer de se lever aussi!)

My little boy will become a man...

7 month,

• he crawls (he started at 6 months 1 week)
• he pulls himself standing
• he eats like big boys: bananas, rice cakes...etc
• he loves going to the park: swings, slides and merry-go-round

8 months

• he climbs the stairs (all 15 of them, one by one, and with Mum right behind him!)
• he cruises along the furniture
• he self-fed once, using a spoon (one little meal - it's not bad!)
• he waves hello/goodbye with his arm
• he went to London for the first time
• he went on the Tube
• he plays with a rugby ball - merci Illtud!
• he drinks from a glass - like big boys
• he loves dancing when Daddy put on MTV
• his hair is growing (no more bald patch...)
• he has his bath in the big tub (where he tries to crawls and to stand up!)

Here are a few souvenirs from our holiday with the family

Ca fait 2 semaines que j'attends la grande arrivee de Mlle Varicelle. Alors je m'inquiete au moindre changement de pigmentation de la peau de NathaN. Mais jusqu'ici, toujours rien... Serait-il comme ma soeurette et moi, immunise des le depart? On a passe 2 journees sans sortir recemment, et je NathaN deteste ca. Alors aujourd'hui, on a repris du service et on est alle au "baby group" ce matin, puis on est alle faire du shopping. J'adore aller au supermarche quand l'equipe d'Angleterre joue au foot: il n'y a PERSONNE dans les allees!

I've been waiting for 2 weeks now for the grand arrival of Miss Chicken Pox.  So I worry at the slightest change of coloration of Nathan's skin. But until now, still nothing... Could he be like my sis and I, immune to it from the start? We spent 2 days without going out recently, and I NathaN hates this. So today, we got back out and we went to our baby group this morning, then we went shopping. I love going to the supermarket when the England team is playing football: there's NOBODY in the aisles!

Apres pres d'un mois sans ordinateur donc sans Internet, nous revoila... Il faudra attendre encore un peu pour les photos, car je n'ai pas encore tout remis a jour. Nos vacances autour de Londres se sont tres bien passees. Comme il a fait beau pendant presque toute la semaine, on a pu faire des pique-niques dans des parcs londonniens. Ainsi, NathaN en a profite pour ameliorer son 4 pattes, il a meme grimpe sa premiere marche et c'est a Croydon, chez Cousine Jackie qu'il a commence a marche en se tenant au canape! Et ce petit bout n'a pas encore 8 mois (c'est pour vendredi)!!!

So after nearly a month without computer, therefore without Internet, we're back... You'll have to wait a little for the latest pics as I haven't updated everything. Our holiday around London went brilliantly well! Since the weater was VERY nice for most of the week, we've had a few picnics in some of London's parks. So NathaN had plenty of space for crawling. He even climbed his first step and it's in Croydon, at Cousin Jackie's, that he started cruising along the furniture! And the little darling is not 8 months yet (that's for Friday)!!!
