Un reveil matinal de la part de NathaN (6h40!) / une sortie a Mums and Tots pour jouets avec ses copains et copines / quelques courses pour le repas de ce soir / un bon dejeuner, et une sieste pour monsieur / un bon dejeuner et des corrections pour moi / du bidouillage / une tasse de the au cafe du coin avec Fiona et Becky / un diner mange comme un grand...ou presque / des Thai salmon fishcakes delicieux! / des tickets pour le concert de Only Men Aloud achetes (le cousin de mon Homme sera sur scene!) :)

An early wake up call from NathaN (6.40 am!) / an outing to Mums and Tots to play with some friends / some shopping for tonight's dinner / a good lunch and a nap / a good lunch and some marking / a cup of tea in our local coffee shop with Fiona and Becky / a dinner, eaten like a big boy...or nearly / some delicious Thai salmon fishcakes! / bought my tickets to go and see Only Men Aloud (my Man's cousin will be on stage!) :)

Deja? et bah oui!

Dans 2 semaines, on part dans la region des Lakes a Ambleside! On a envie d'une semaine loin de tout, sans contraintes, sans imposes, sans tele...avoir le temps de vivre tout simplement, de profiter de notre petite famille, de rire, de se promener, de lire, d'ecouter le chant des oiseaux. Bon, je m'arrete, ca devient bucolique! Oh, j'ai hate d'y aller!!! Peut-etre que ce sera la-bas que NathaN se decidera a marcher, ou peut-etre pas...

Already the holidays? well, in 2 weeks...

And we're going to Ambleside, in the Lake District! We just want a week away from everything, without constraints, without TV... to have the time to breathe, to make the most of our little family, to laugh, to go for a walk, to read, to listen to the birds singing. I'd better stop, it's getting very bucolique! Oh, I can't wait to go there!!! Maybe NathaN will decide to make his first real steps over then, or maybe he won't...

Depuis hier soir...j'ai perdu ma voix. Pour une prof, c'est plutot genant...

Since yesterday evening...I've lost my voice. Rather careless for a teacher...

Lucky me, my pupils are very good and still manage to work!

Mon fils est si gentil, il a insiste pour m'aider a vider le lave-vaiselle!

My son is so helpful, he insisted to help me empty the dishwasher!

Petit week-end tranquille. Retrouvailles avec M, Super apres-midi entre amis au pub (avec NathaN - qui fut une vraie star!), soiree bidouille (mon homme etait de sortie), Dimanche en pyjama (j'adore!!!) et Maintenant: finir la correction des derniers devoirs...en ecoutant Rufus!!!!!!!!

A chilled weekend. Meeting up with M., Fab afternoon in the pub with some friends from Macc (with NathaN - who was a real star!), evening of pottering (my Man was out), Sunday in my PJs (j'adore!!!) et Now: finishing marking the last books....whilst listening to Rufus!!!!!!!!!!

Ma soeur preferee vient de lancer son site de vente en ligne de produits pour l'art du fil! On y trouve des tissus fabuleux et des livres de patrons magnifiques!

Allez-vite y jeter un coup d'oeil, ca vaut vraiment le detour!!!

Encore une fois, je me dis....deja!?

A 11 mois, ...

• NathaN boit son biberon tout seul dans son transat
• il a une quatrieme dents
• il va a la creche (3 jours 1/2 par semaine), sans pleurer :)
• il se tient debout pendant 10/15 secondes
• il fait 1 ou 3 pas avant de tomber dans nos bras
• il mange comme un grand avec son bol et sa cuillere (enfin il s'entraine...)
• il remet le bouchon du biberon en place quand il a finit de boire!
• il sait sortir de sa chaise haute, pour grimper sur la table!!!

Once again, I say to myself...already!?

At 11 months, ...

• NathaN drinks his bottle by himself in his reclining chair
• he has a 4th tooth
• he goes to nursery (3.5 days a weeks), without any tears :)
• he stands on his own for 10/15 seconds
• he makes 1 or 3 steps before falling into our arms
• he eats like a big boy, with his own bowl and spoon (well, at least, he 's trying...)
• he replaces the lid of the bottle once he's finished drinking
• he can climb out of his high chair, to then climb onto the table!!!

Mon homme est parti en voyage scolaire ce matin, avec ses chers eleves, et donc nous voila en tete-a-tete, mon NathaN et moi jusqu'a mercredi soir. On devrait tenir le coup! Enfin, j'ai de quoi m'occuper avec des piles de corrections (deja!). Et puis, il y a cette liste qui n'en finit pas de "choses a faire". En attendant, mon jeune pompier s'eclate dans son nouveau pyjama (merci MamieCo).

My man's gone on a school trip this morning, with his dear pupils, so we're left "en tete-a-tete", NathaN and I, until Wednesday night. We should be able to cope. Well, I have plenty to keep me busy with those piles of marking (already!). And there is this neverending "To Do List". In the meantime, the little firefighter is having a fab time, in his new pyjama (merci MamieCo).

Ce matin, pour la premiere fois depuis des semaines, ce n'est pas moi qui ai donne le biberon a NathaN... Je vous laisse decouvrir en image...

This morning, for the first time in weeks, it wasn't me who gave NathaN his bottle... Check this out...

OK, y'a du retard....

La reprise s'est faite a toute allure, et je commence a trouver mes marques, dans cette nouvelle vie de prof a mi-temps. Mais on n'est pas la pour parler boulot! Non! Dimanche, c'etait l'anniversaire de ma Jolie Maman... et j'ai pense tres fort a elle toute la journee. J'ai hate de la voir en novembre pour un petit sejour British! Et puis lundi, c'etait mon tour (33 et toutes mes dents!)! Alors on a fete ca entre amis et en famille dimanche apres-midi. On a retrouve des amis d'enfance de mon homme et tous les bambinos, et on a passe un super moment ensemble. Et puis le soir, on avait RDV avec Tatavic pour un repas dans un super resto vegetarien de Manchester. NathaN avait adore son apres-midi a jouer avec les autres enfants, mais ca ne l'a pas vraiment amuse de nous regarder manger...et puis ses dents devaient lui faire un peu mal aussi.

La grande nouvelle pour NathaN, c'est que depuis vendredi dernier, il fait de gros efforts pour se tenir debout tout seul, et il a meme fait un pas (par erreur)!!! Hier, il applaudissait (ca aussi c'est nouveau, depuis le 8 sept) debout :)

Ok, so I'm late with this post....

Getting back to work, time is flying...I'm starting to find my footing with my new life of part-time teacher. But we're not here to chat work! Non! On Sunday, it was my Jolie Maman's birthday... and I thought of her tons all day long. I can't wait for her to come and visit in November for a British hols! And on Monday, it was my turn (33...)! So we celebrated with friends and family on Sunday afternoon. We met up with some old friends and all their bambinos, and we had a great time together. And in the evening, we met up with TataVic for a fabulous meal in a great vegetarian restaurant in Manchester. NathaN had loved the afternoon, playing with the other children, but it wasn't particularly impressed to have to sit and watch us eat...and his gums were sore too...

The big news for NathaN is that since last Friday, he's working really hard at standing on his own, and he has even made one step (as a mistake)!!! Yesterday, he was clapping (that's new too, since the 8th Sept) whist standing :)
