I'm going to try to answer to the questions from here and there... Before going to England, I lived in Orleans. That's also where I went to uni. All my family live around the Loire Valley, so England was a big adventure! In 1998, I spent a year as an assistant in Downside School. I had the impression to find myself on the set of the Dead Poet Society! Then I did my PGCE in Bath uni. I got my first teaching job in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. but since I didn't like the school, I only stayed there one year. Then I worked for 2 years in Southend-on-Sea (Essex), before resigning to relocate and be closer to my Prince as we'd just got engaged. And since 2003, I've lived and worked in Greater Manchester (Didsbury, Oldham, Macclesfield, and now Stockport/Cheadle Hulme).
Since the Prince is also a teacher, we have lots of holidays together and I get to see my French family 2/3 times a year. And when I've been good, the Frogies even come over to visit! Obviously I miss my family, but the phone is free now, and the flights are cheap enough... What I miss the most: pains au chocolat and good tea (sorry becca- PG tips isn't my cup of tea)!
Speaking of which, I've posted photos of the tea that Auntie Vic brought back from Mexico: hibiscus tea. I love the pink colour, and it tastes delicious too, very refreshing! She didn't forget my passion for chocolate, with this pomegranate chocolate.
