Let's do it!

La decision a ete prise il y a pres d'un an... Et demain, c'est le depart: que les travaux commencent!

Nous habitons ici depuis 5 ans, et nous n'avons pas change grand chose depuis notre installation (une moquette, des nouvelles fenetres, une meilleure isolation ici et la...pas vraiment des choses esthetiques). Mais demain, on commence la danse de la poussiere: on abat la cloison entre le salon et la salle a manger. Histoire d'avoir une grande piece a vivre (La cuisine reste separee). J'ai des photos du mur qui bientot ne sera plus, mais canalblog ne me laisse pas les inserer... je ressaierai plus tard

PS: et pour ceux qui auraient peur...non ce n'est pas nous qui le faisons de nos petites mains...

We took the decision nearly a year ago... And tomorrow, we're starting: let the building work start!

We've lived here for 5 years, and we haven't changed much since (a carpet, new windows, a better insulation here and there... nothing esthetic). But tomorrow, we're starting the dust waltz: we're knocking down the wall between the lounge and the dining room. So that we have a bigger living room (the kitchen remains separate). I have some photos of the wall that will soon not be, but canalblog won't let me upload them...I'll try again later

PS: and to reassure a few... no, we're not the one actually doing hte work...
